ANKARA, April 10 – RIA Novosti. Three Russian tourists injured in an accident in Turkey were hospitalized, two more may be discharged on Saturday, a representative of the Russian Embassy in Ankara told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Antalya told RIA Novosti about one dead Russian tourist and 26 injured Russians in an accident with a bus on the Konya-Aksaray highway. According to preliminary information received by the Consulate General in local law enforcement agencies, the bus driver lost control of the road on the road icy due to bad weather conditions.

“According to the updated information received by the embassy staff on the spot from the representatives of the gendarmerie and the travel company, five Russian tourists who were injured in an accident on the Konya-Aksaray highway this morning asked for medical help. Three of them required hospitalization with bruises and fractures of varying severity, two of them, upon receipt of the results of medical examinations, will presumably be discharged today. The rest of the Russian tourists are in one of the hotels in Konya, from where they will leave for the hotels at the place of rest, as soon as the procedures to clarify the circumstances of the accident are completed, and the weather conditions allow, “the source said.
