MOSCOW, April 9 – RIA Novosti. Users of the social networks Instagram and Facebook from a number of countries are complaining about service failures, according to data from the Downdetector website, which tracks outages and outages of popular Internet resources.
Instagram crashed at about 00.18 Moscow time, Facebook – at 00.19. Problems have been reported by users from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and other European countries.
According to Downdetector, the majority of Instagram users (59%) experienced issues and downloads. Facebook users, mostly (86%), complain about problems with the site.
The social network Facebook was founded in February 2004 by 19-year-old American student Mark Zuckerberg. The headquarters is located in Menlo Park (California). Facebook also owns the services Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram.
