ISLAMABAD, April 7 – RIA Novosti. Russia will try to meet Pakistan's needs for the Sputnik V COVID vaccine, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“Of course, as said, Mr. Minister (Pakistani Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi – ed.), Pakistan's needs are immeasurably greater, but everything now rests on the ability to produce this vaccine not only in the Russian Federation, but also in countries that are our foreign partners, such production has already been established in India, now it is starting in Korea, in Belarus, as you know, in a number of other countries, “Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with his Pakistani counterpart.
According to him, “we will be ready, due to the available opportunities, to try to help the Pakistani colleagues to meet their needs.”
“But here, again, we have obligations to those countries that have previously addressed us with this request,” the minister explained, adding that, in his opinion, “this is a very promising topic and our relevant experts will work on its implementation.” Infographics
