YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, April 5 – RIA Novosti. The body of an amateur diver, who did not surface when diving into Aniva Bay more than a week ago, was found off the coast of Sakhalin on Sunday, the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk marine rescue sub-center told RIA Novosti.
“They found a human body. They took us aboard the Switzer Sakhalin tug,” said the agency's interlocutor.
Earlier it was reported that in the city of Korsakov, near Vokzalnaya street 66, in the Aniva Bay (Sea of Okhotsk), three amateur divers were diving. Only two climbed to the surface.
For a week, a group of rescuers from the Sakhalin search and rescue squad of the Russian Emergencies Ministry named after V.A. Polyakov, the Korsakov rescue squad, as well as the police.
