The police organized a search for a woman who, according to information on the social network, kept her eight-year-old daughter on a leash at home in Novoshakhtinsk, Rostov region and did not feed her, a representative of the GUMVD of Russia for the region told RIA Novosti.
Earlier in the public “This is Rostov” on the social network “VKontakte” there was information that the woman “mocked her daughter, kept her on a leash, did not give food and drink.” From hunger, the bound girl chewed a blanket. She had rope bruises on her arms. All this was revealed when an acquaintance came to visit them, who untied the child “and immediately called the police and an ambulance.” The child is in the hospital, noted in the post.
“The police are investigating all the circumstances of the incident, and are also conducting operational-search measures to establish the whereabouts of the minor's mother,” said a spokesman for the department. He confirmed that the police seized the child and placed him in a hospital.
