A crowd of radicals with fires gathered outside the Russian consulate in Odessa

MOSCOW, April 3 – RIA Novosti. Ukrainian nationalists staged a protest at the Russian consulate in Odessa. This was reported by the Facebook community “Odessa as it is”.

The footage taken by eyewitnesses shows how the protesters lit fires in front of the Russian diplomatic mission. Police were on duty at the scene, but they did not interfere with the radicals in any way.

The action was directed against the head of the political council of the Opposition Platform – For Life party Viktor Medvedchuk.

According to the portal “Odessa Online”, nationalists accused him of “inciting war” in the Donbass. They demanded to put the politician in prison and nationalize his property. Participants of the action poured red paint on the flags of Russia and the HLS, and then set them on fire.

The rally was attended by several dozen people. They were holding flags of the “National Corps” and posters with the words “Russia = OPZZH”.
