The ruble has depreciated against the euro and the dollar

MOSCOW, March 16 – RIA Novosti. The ruble at the beginning of trading fell against the dollar and the euro against the background of falling oil prices, according to the data of the Moscow Exchange.

The exchange rate of the American currency in calculations “tomorrow” at 07:05 Moscow time increased by eight kopecks – up to 72.88 rubles, the European currency – by ten kopecks, to 86.98 rubles.

The price of Brent crude oil fell by 0.8 percent and reached $ 68.3 per barrel.

Fuel is falling in price on the wave of quarantine measures due to a new increase in the incidence of COVID-19 and a slow pace of vaccination, as well as due to lower demand in Europe and an increase in stocks.
