MOSCOW, March 16 – RIA Novosti. Due to the rise in prices in the domestic market, the Russian government is trying to restrain the export activity of enterprises producing the most demanded products in the country, but at the same time it does not cancel the task of developing the export of agricultural products, the head of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev said on Tuesday.
“Colleagues, you know the situation: our prices on the domestic food market are growing. We are now trying to correct them in a certain way. restrain in a way, “Patrushev said during a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Natural Resources, Property and Land Relations.
“But at the same time, the export task is before us and, of course, we will solve it in a certain way,” the minister stressed.
According to him, at present there are already a lot of mechanisms that stimulate the production of agricultural products for export – from reimbursement of part of the direct costs incurred for the production of certain products to concessional loans – both short-term and investment. New measures of state support are also being developed, Patrushev continued: one of them is the provision of compensation for an advance payment for enterprises purchasing high-tech equipment and machinery on a lease basis.
“We hope that this will also in a certain way be able to stimulate the development of investments in agriculture, in those industries that will work for the export of agricultural products. Of course, we continue to subsidize the transportation and certification of products for exporters, I believe that this is an important mechanism , which helps to export products to foreign markets, “the minister added.
According to the Federal Center for the Development of Export of Agricultural Products (FGBU “Agroexport”) under the Ministry of Agriculture, the supply of agricultural products from the Russian Federation abroad in 2020 amounted to $ 30.658 billion. In 2019, according to the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of the Russian Federation, the export of food products and agricultural raw materials from Russia amounted to $ 24.83 billion, down 0.5%.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation reported that in 2019 Russia supplied products and food to foreign markets for $ 25.6 billion. When calculating the indicators of the federal project “Export of agricultural products”, the Ministry of Agriculture, in addition to the data of the Federal Customs Service, uses data from Rosstat on the export of fish and seafood outside the customs territory of the Russian Federation, as well as a number of other goods.
