BUENOS AIRES, 15 Mar – RIA Novosti. The National Medicines and Health Products Administration (Infarmed) of Portugal is suspending the use of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine, the newspaper reported.
This decision was made after two cases of adverse reactions to the drug.
A number of EU countries, including Austria, Estonia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Denmark, Bulgaria, Norway, Iceland, Slovenia, Cyprus, Italy, France, Germany and Spain have suspended the use of this vaccine. It is approved by the European drug regulator EMA for use in the European Union.
