KABUL, March 16 – RIA Novosti. Militants attacked a bus carrying teachers and students at the University of Baghlan Province in Afghanistan, killing two people, security sources told RIA Novosti.
According to sources, a rocket hit the car near the town of Puli-Khumri. As a result of the attack, a bus driver and a student were killed and six teachers were injured.
“There were about 25 teachers and students on the bus,” Tolo News quoted sources as saying.
Baghlan police said radical Taliban fighters were behind the attack. The Taliban have not yet commented on the incident.
