MOSCOW, March 16 – RIA Novosti. Foreign participants are interested in full-time participation in the events of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.
The SPIEF is scheduled for June 2-5, 2021.
“Foreign participants are actively expressing interest in full-time participation in the events of the forum, and this format will be maintained in compliance with all safety measures to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infection in accordance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor and the World Health Organization (WHO), with which we are in close contact.” – said Kobyakov, whose words are quoted by the press service of Roscongress.
According to him, the forum will be held in a traditional face-to-face format using modern digital technologies with the possibility of broadcasting events on the SPIEF resources.
Kobyakov also noted that work is currently underway to form the business program of the forum.
Sessions will traditionally be devoted to issues of the global and Russian economy, social issues and technology development.
In addition, the SPIEF is expected to host the Russian Small and Medium Business Forum, the Youth Forum, SCO, BRICS and ASEAN events, and more.
An invitation campaign is currently underway, the Roscongress noted.
