CAIRO, 15 Mar – RIA Novosti. Oil tankers in the pro-Turkish-controlled northern part of Aleppo province were hit by a missile strike on Monday night, the pro-government Syrian newspaper al-Watan reported, citing sources.
“Several rockets of unknown origin hit a facility in the village of al-Hamran in the north of Aleppo province, where oil tanks and oil refineries belonging to pro-Turkish armed groups are located, resulting in a fire,” the newspaper reported.
According to the newspaper, several members of the gangs and base employees were injured in the explosions and fire.
As noted, a week ago, as a result of a similar strike in the same area, at least 200 tank trucks with “stolen” Syrian oil burned down, which the groups process and then sell.
