MOSCOW, 15 March – RIA Novosti. If the foreign exchange rate begins to decline, holders of the dollar can think about selling it, Anton Yemelyanov, a teacher at the Synergy Business School, told the Prime agency. “Selling foreign currency may also be successful during a rise in oil prices. In this regard, the possibility of a decrease in foreign exchange rates is most likely. After all, exporters already receive a large volume of foreign exchange earnings, which in turn puts pressure on the foreign exchange market,” the expert noted.
According to him, the decrease in the exchange rate can also be affected by the positive balance of the foreign trade balance, when more currency flows into the country than it leaves.
The economist advised to open foreign currency deposits in banks or purchase debt obligations.
“If your goal is to obtain high returns on foreign currency assets, then today opportunities for private investors to trade on stock exchanges with shares of foreign companies are open. In this case, you can make good money, but you need to remember about the high risks,” Yemelyanov warned.
