The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, authorized the holding of mass events in the republic dedicated to the celebration of the seventh anniversary of the reunification of the peninsula with Russia, the corresponding changes have been made to the decree on high alert introduced due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Crimea on Tuesday marks the seventh anniversary of the referendum marking the reunification of the peninsula with Russia. The celebrations are held under the slogan “Crimean Spring – Seven Years at Home”. The main celebrations to mark the anniversary of the referendum are scheduled for March 16 and 18.
“The action (of the decree – ed.) Does not apply to events dedicated to the Day of the Crimean referendum in 2014 and the Day of the reunification of Crimea with Russia, the All-Russian motorcycle club” Night Wolves “on March 18 in Simferopol on Lenin Square, as well as events organized by local self-government bodies of municipal formations “, – said in a document published on the website of the regional government.
