Magnitude 5.1 earthquake hits Iran

MOSCOW, March 14 – RIA Novosti. An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 struck southern Iran, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 104 kilometers from the city of Minab, the focus lay at a depth of 50 kilometers. The earthquake was recorded at 15.54 Moscow time.

Data on casualties and destruction has not yet been reported.
