ALMA-ATA, March 14 – RIA Novosti. Two servicemen who survived the crash of the An-26 aircraft of the Aviation Service of the National Security Committee (KNB) of Kazakhstan were operated on and are in intensive care in a consistently serious condition, the press service of the Alma-Ata health department told RIA Novosti.
“The patients have been operated on, the condition is consistently grave, in intensive care,” said a representative of the city health department.
She clarified that “everything possible” is being done to save lives.
The plane crashed on the evening of March 13, when it was landing at the Almaty airport. According to the press service of the KNB, four out of six people on board died, two were hospitalized with burns and fractures.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to start an investigation into the causes of the plane crash.
