VOLGOGRAD, March 14 – RIA Novosti. Three boys aged 6 to 10 years fell through the ice on the Akhtuba River near Volgograd, they were pulled out of the water, but one of the children died, the press service of the SUSK RF in the Volgograd region told reporters.
According to the ministry, two brothers 10 and 7 years old, as well as their six-year-old friend from Volzhsky went for a walk to the Akhtuba River. The children went on the ice, but it could not bear their weight. According to the UK, the boys were pulled out of the water by adults who were nearby.
“All the children were pulled out of the water, but one of them died after a short time, the other two were hospitalized, now nothing threatens their lives,” the department said. It is noted that the youngest of the brothers died.
The UK organized an investigation into the death of a seven-year-old child.
