MOSCOW, March 14 – RIA Novosti. Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov on the air of the radio station “Moscow speaking” announced a significant reduction in incomes of the population.
“In the period from 2010 to the beginning of 2014, the income of the population increased 1.6 times. We reached an average wage of about $ 500 a month,” Azarov said.
He noted that Ukrainians lived better than the population of Romania and Bulgaria, despite the fact that the latter are members of the European Union.
However, according to him, now salaries in the country have been cut by half.
“There is some stratum of people in Ukraine who like it. What does it mean if labor has become cheap? It means that you can extract excess profits,” he concluded.
Earlier, Mykola Azarov said that in Ukraine “a whole city dies” every year.
