Those detained in Moscow at the forum of the United Democrats project (a project of the interregional public organization Open Petersburg *) were released from the Novokosino police station, Marina Litvinovich, a member of the Moscow Public Monitoring Commission, told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, on the website of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow, a message appeared that after an attempt to hold an event with undesirable organizations in a hotel complex on Izmaylovskoye Shosse, about 200 people were delivered to the OVD, a check is underway. It is noted that representatives of the public organization tried to hold the event in violation of epidemiological norms.
“By the time we arrived, all the detainees who were at the forum had already been released, we found the last four people leaving,” she said.
In addition, Litvinovich claims that the POC officers discovered violations at the police station: according to her, the detainees there had no food or drink, as well as bed linen.
The coordinator of the United Democrats, Anastasia Burakova, told RIA Novosti earlier that on Saturday the Izmailovo Delta Hotel hosted a forum organized by this project, which was attended by municipal deputies from the regions of Russia to discuss the strategy for the next electoral cycle and share their experience with each other …
