MOSCOW, March 13 – RIA Novosti. Milyausha Kashapova, coordinator of the United Democrats project (a project of the interregional public organization Open Petersburg *), which organized a forum of municipal deputies, was taken to the police department in the Novokosino district after the arrests, lawyer Sergei Telnov told RIA Novosti.
“There are 15 detained forum participants in the Novokosino police department, among them Milyausha Kashapova, coordinator of the United Democrats. I have not yet been allowed into the police department, they say such an order,” Telnov told RIA Novosti.
Lawyer Dmitry Zakhvatov, who is at the OVD for the Novogireevo district, in turn, suggested that the detainees would be charged with 20.33 Administrative Code (“Carrying out activities on the territory of the Russian Federation by an undesirable foreign or international non-governmental organization”), but there is no confirmation of this yet, since the defender has not managed to get to the detainees. He noted that there are 17 forum participants in this department of internal affairs.
As RIA Novosti was told by lawyer Leonid Solovyov, who went to the Vostochnoye Izmailovo police station, more than 30 detainees were taken there, including the organizer of the forum Alexander Minyukov, activists Anton Taroyans and municipal deputy Kirill Ishutin.
There are more than 10 detainees in the Preobrazhenskoye police department, a lawyer is not allowed to see them, explaining this by the need for investigative actions, attorney Anna Polozova told RIA Novosti.
Anastasia Burakova, coordinator of the United Democrats, previously told RIA Novosti that on Saturday a forum organized by this project was held at the Izmailovo Delta Hotel, which was attended by municipal deputies from Russian regions to discuss the strategy for the next electoral cycle and share their experience with each other …
Marina Litvinovich, a member of the Moscow POC, told RIA Novosti that Ilya Yashin, Yevgeny Roizman and Yulia Galyamina were detained in Moscow at a forum of municipal deputies. In addition, the chairman of the Boris Nemtsov Foundation, Vladimir Kara-Murza Jr., wrote on his Facebook page that he was in the paddy wagon. RIA Novosti does not yet have a police commentary.
