MOSCOW, March 10 – RIA Novosti. Russian enterprises, members of the Russian Association of Fertilizer Producers (RAPU), intend to invest more than 1.6 trillion rubles in the development of agricultural technologies by 2026, said Andrei Guryev, President of RAPU, CEO of PhosAgro .
These funds are necessary to reliably meet the growing needs of Russian farmers in mineral nutrition systems to improve the quality and yield of agricultural products, their competitiveness in the global market, as well as to maintain the competitive advantages of Russian producers of mineral fertilizers in foreign markets as part of the implementation of a national project to increase the volume of non-raw materials. non-energy exports.
The investment priority of the projects is the introduction of the best available technologies covering the key areas of activity of the mining and chemical industry: development of the most important deposits of mineral raw materials and their deep processing, production of high-tech products, modernization and technical re-equipment of infrastructure, energy efficiency and resource conservation, strict compliance with the most stringent Russian and international environmental requirements …
“The key factors determining the portfolio of development projects are the interests of our main consumers – Russian farmers, to whom we supply more products than any other country in the world. The Russian agro-industrial complex is one of the most stable and dynamically developing in the world, and long-term investments in agricultural technologies will form the basis of its growth in the long term, “Guryev said .
Investment projects include seven special investment contracts (SPIC) worth 437 billion rubles, ten corporate competitiveness improvement programs (KPPK) worth 358 billion rubles, and five investment protection and promotion agreements (SZPK) worth 429 billion rubles.
According to RAPU forecasts, as a result of the implementation of investment projects by 2026, the total production of industrial enterprises will increase by 36.5%, to 34 million tons (in terms of 100% of the nutrient).
According to Guryev, Russia fully provides itself with mineral fertilizers, a leading agrarian country, reliably holding the second place in the world in the production of mineral fertilizers . The growth of production volumes and the introduction of the best available technologies (BAT) will provide confident support for the implementation of two main industry objectives: the development of the domestic market for the consumption of mineral fertilizers and the strengthening of the competitiveness of Russian producers in global markets.
Over the past five years, the consumption of mineral fertilizers in Russia has grown by one and a half times to a record 4 million tons (in terms of 100% of the nutrient). According to the forecast of the Ministry of Agriculture, this figure will double in the next few years.
Over the past 5 years, enterprises of the industry have invested more than one trillion rubles in the development of production, and the production of mineral fertilizers in Russia has grown by 23.5% and reached 24.9 million tons (in terms of 100% of the active ingredient).
