MOSCOW, March 10 – RIA Novosti. The Timiryazevsky court of Moscow on Wednesday fined actress Daria-Aglaya Tarasova ten thousand rubles for participating in an unauthorized action, court press secretary Maria Prokhoricheva told RIA Novosti.
“Tarasova Darya-Aglaya Viktorovna was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. She was sentenced to an administrative fine of ten thousand rubles,” said the agency's interlocutor.
Tarasova was not present at the meeting, only her lawyer came – this is permissible within the framework of administrative proceedings.
For “a participant in a public event violating the order of its holding” the girl was threatened with a fine of up to 20 thousand rubles or compulsory work for up to 40 hours.
As follows from the case materials, on the evening of February 2, on Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street, Tarasova, as part of a group of citizens in the amount of more than 500 people, chanting various slogans, attracting the attention of citizens and the media, ignoring the explanations of police officers, voluntarily took part in an uncoordinated public mass event “.
The report states that the actress did not react to the repeated demands of the police officers “to stop her illegal actions”, after which she was taken to the territorial police department.
Uncoordinated protests took place on January 23 in various cities of Russia and continued on the 31st, despite numerous warnings from the authorities, and on February 2 after the court's decision on Alexei Navalny. Detentions have passed, criminal cases have been initiated on violation of sanitary standards (due to the danger of mass infection with COVID-19), attacks on police officers and Rosgvardia, and so on.
