It is assumed that the innovation will affect foreign legal entities, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and others.
The department believes that such a measure will lead to an increase in budget revenues. According to the newspaper, the draft federal law is planned to be prepared by the middle of the year. The executors were appointed by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Federal Tax Service.
According to the research company BloggerBase, in 2020 Russian video bloggers earned about 18 billion rubles.
