SAMARA, 9 March – RIA Novosti. The police opened a criminal case after the brutal murder of a dog in the Ulyanovsk village, said the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Earlier, local media, citing eyewitnesses, reported that in the Ulyanovsk region, two unknown persons killed two dogs: one of them was tied to a car with a wire and drove through the village, because of which the animal suffocated.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that a 42-year-old resident of the village of Yasashnaya Tashla turned to the duty unit, reporting the murder of his pet.
“At present, the preliminary investigation bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation” Sengileevsky “have opened a criminal case under item” in “part 2 of article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation” Cruelty to animals, “the ministry's press service said.
