Bastrykin instructed to transfer the case of an accident with seven dead near Samara to the UK

The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the Samara investigators to initiate the transfer of a criminal case about an accident near Samara, in which seven people died, to the Investigative Committee, said the official representative of the department, Svetlana Petrenko.

Earlier, the regional prosecutor's office reported that on the morning of March 8, an Isuzu truck and a Volkswagen passenger car collided on the 8th kilometer of the Samara-Togliatti highway near the village of Kurumoch. The road accident killed seven people, the truck driver was not injured. Reverse movement is organized at the scene of the accident.

According to a RIA Novosti source in law enforcement agencies, the age of the victims is from 17 to 24 years old. Earlier it was reported that the accident killed five men and two women.
