Russian Embassy checks data on helicopter crash with military in CAR

MOSCOW, 7 Mar – RIA Novosti. The Russian Embassy in the CAR is checking information about a helicopter crash with Russian military specialists on board, Russian Ambassador to Bangui Vladimir Titorenko told RIA Novosti.

Earlier, the media reported that a helicopter with Russian military specialists on board made an emergency landing in the Central African Republic. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

“The embassy is checking the information of the media … There is nothing in the reports of MONUSCA either. It is precisely established that there are no killed or wounded among the Russian instructors,” the ambassador said.

He noted that the leadership of the Russian instructors did not confirm this message.
