He noted that Saratov was a strong and fair woman who devoted her life to protecting people from criminal encroachments.
Kadyrov added that the human rights activist was one of those who openly spoke about violations of the rights of residents of Chechnya, guided by the principles of justice and humanity. According to the head of the republic, “she remained true to these principles until the end of her days.”
“I express my sincere words of condolences to the family and friends of Kheda Saratova,” Kadyrov stressed.
Saratova, born in 1965, since the beginning of hostilities in Chechnya in the early 2000s, she has been actively involved in human rights activities, in recent years she has been dealing with the problem of returning women and children forcibly taken by their husbands to the war zone in Syria and Iraq, helping relatives in their search.
