MOSCOW, 5 March – RIA Novosti. LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky believes that women in Russia will not want to become presidents, since, in his opinion, this is “hard work”, and gave examples of women who held the posts of governors in Russia, but “could not resist.”
“I’m sure they don’t want to become presidents, it’s hard work,” Zhirinovsky said live on Instagram on Friday.
He cited several women governors as examples, including the governor of the Murmansk region. “They are talented, they are good, but it’s impossible to deal with these issues of the life of the region all day long. None of them resisted. No one bothered them, they were helped, and they are not to blame,” the party leader explained.
Zhirinovsky admitted that he would like “women to inspire men,” and “not to war.” He also advocated “giving women more freedom.”
