Rosstat reported falling prices for medical thermometers

MOSCOW, 5 March – RIA Novosti. Medical mercury-free thermometers (galinstanovye) in Russia in February 2021 fell by 0.5% compared to January, the Federal State Statistics Service said.

“Among medical products, prices increased: for bandages – by 1.3%, disposable syringes – by 1.1%, domestic cotton wool – by 0.6%. statistical office.

In addition, prices for the following medicines from the list of vital and essential medicines (VED) increased in February: ceftriaxone – by 2.1%, acetylsalicylic acid (domestic aspirin) – by 0.7%, loratadine, amlodipine, chlorhexidine – by 0.6%, colecalciferol (vitamin D3) – by 0.5%.

Prices decreased for smecta – by 1.4%, suprastin, oseltamivir (nomides) – by 1.1%, umifenovir (arbidol) – by 1%, azithromycin – by 0.6%, amoxicillin with clavulanic acid – by 0.5 %, nitroglycerin, xylometazoline (galazolin) – by 0.3%, drotaverine (no-shpa) – by 0.2%, loperamide, indapamide, hypothiazide – by 0.1%.

Prices for non-VED drugs increased by 1%, in particular, multivitamins with macro- and microelements – by 2.2%, motherwort tincture, sulfacetamide – by 1.9%, levomekol – by 1.7%. corvalol – by 1.5%, troxerutin – by 1.4%, oftan katachrom – by 1.2%, domestic multivitamins without minerals, taurine, ketoprofen, sodium metamizole (domestic analgin) – by 1.1%.

Meanwhile, prices for combined analgesics decreased by 0.3%. In general, medicines in February rose by 0.5% in monthly terms, and in annual terms – by 9.8%.
