S.-PETERSBURG, March 3 – RIA Novosti. The Leningrad Region entered the top five Russian regions in terms of the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in addition, SMEs are actively involved in public procurement, said the head of the region Alexander Drozdenko at a meeting of the Coordination Council for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
According to him, over the past three years in the region there has been an increase in loans issued by banks to entrepreneurs of the Leningrad region. If in 2018 their share in the total portfolio was 15.5%, then already in 2020 – 46.8%. For example, Sberbank of Russia alone last year issued 9.9 billion rubles in loans to small and medium-sized businesses. The growth was caused, among other things, by special credit programs of state support during the pandemic. “Last year, the Leningrad Region achieved positive dynamics in terms of growth in the number of small and medium-sized enterprises – 64.5 thousand enterprises are currently operating in the region, an increase of 101%. in five regions of Russia, and our main task is to preserve the number of small and medium-sized enterprises, jobs created by them. Financial support plays an important role in this, as well as an increase in the participation of small businesses in state purchases and purchases of large infrastructure projects, “Drozdenko said.
He also noted that another direction for maintaining business development is the participation of entrepreneurs in state and municipal purchases. Over the past two years, the share of such purchases in the Leningrad Region from entrepreneurs amounted to more than 60%. At the same time, not all of them are from the Leningrad Region. “It is necessary to increase the share of our entrepreneurs in this structure to 75%. Connect our large buyers – Lenoblvodokanal, Real Estate of the Leningrad Region, the Capital Repair Fund, and provide the simplest access to this site for business region “, – said the head of the region.
Also at the meeting, the initiative was voiced to create a regional marketing center on the basis of an existing electronic store, where government orders in small volumes are placed, that would combine government orders and purchases of the business itself on one site with the necessary functionality.
