FSMTC commented on new US sanctions

MOSCOW, March 3 – RIA Novosti. No weapons are being supplied to Russia from the United States and no such supplies are planned, the press service of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) told reporters. “The regular US sanctions announced yesterday against our country, in this particular case with regard to the export of weapons, cause bewilderment, since no arms deliveries from the United States to Russia are being carried out and, of course, they are not planned, “the press service said.

“For historical accuracy, the last time the delivery of this or that military equipment to our country from the United States was carried out during the Great Patriotic War under the Lend-Lease program, the end of which was announced on August 21, 1945 by President Truman,” the FSMTC noted.
