MOSCOW, March 2 – RIA Novosti. A full abolition of restrictions due to coronavirus is possible for those vaccinated against COVID-19, for the rest all precautions should be maintained, says the former head of Rospotrebnadzor, State Duma deputy Gennady Onishchenko.
The situation with the spread of coronavirus allows you to gradually ease the restrictions that were introduced at the height of the COVID-19 epidemic. However, as Gennady Onishchenko noted in an interview with Sputnik radio, this does not mean abandoning precautions. It would be more correct to say that some means of prevention are being replaced by others, vaccination is replacing personal protective equipment, the deputy explained. “We need this period, when we return to a more familiar life, to start with vaccination. You will get vaccinated and then you can afford not to wear masks. You will get accustomed and then you can afford to take a more active part in public life, “emphasized Gennady Onishchenko.
Those young people who have not been sick and have not been vaccinated, but who have older people in their families, the former head of Rospotrebnadzor urged for the sake of their loved ones during the relaxation of restrictions to strictly observe all precautions.
“I would like to tell them not to succumb to this cancellation of restrictions, but on the contrary, to observe the precautions more carefully. Cancellation does not concern everyone, it concerns those who deserve it. It concerns those who are vaccinated,” said Gennady Onishchenko in an interview with Sputnik radio.
