Rada deputy published a map of Ukraine without Crimea

MOSCOW, March 1RIA Novosti. Verkhovna Rada deputy, co-chairman of the Opposition Platform – For Life party Vadim Rabinovich published a map of Ukraine without Crimea on his Facebook page.

The map, compiled according to the data of the Kiev National Linguistic University, shows which language the inhabitants of different regions of the country speak: Russian, Ukrainian or “surzhik”.

In the comments, former people's deputy Sergei Leshchenko threatened Rabinovich with criminal liability. “By publishing a map of Ukraine without Crimea, you are committing a criminal offense, and I hope you will be punished for it,” he said.

Other users ridiculed Leshchenko's statement, noting that he himself commented on the entry in an “enemy” language.
