YEREVAN, 28 Feb – RIA Novosti. The third night of opposition supporters spending the night at the Armenian parliament in Yerevan passed quietly, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
Opponents of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan are spending their third night in a tent camp on Baghramyan Avenue. A dozen tents have been set up here, some of them are equipped with stoves. Oppositionists warm themselves in tents or on the street around bonfires. Like-minded people bring them hot tea and sandwiches.

The camp and the parliament are guarded by the police, the police do not intervene in what is happening.
Another political crisis erupted in Yerevan after Pashinyan's careless words about the Russian Iskander. According to media reports, the deputy chief of the general staff of Armenia ridiculed the prime minister, for which he was dismissed, following him the chief of the general staff was proposed to resign. On Thursday morning, the Armenian Armed Forces issued a statement demanding the resignation of Pashinyan himself. The prime minister regarded this as an attempted coup and called on his supporters to take to the streets. Meanwhile, the opposition has erected barricades and set up a campground near the parliament, they are not in the mood for negotiations with the authorities and demand the resignation of the prime minister.
