MOSCOW, February 28 – RIA Novosti. People's Artist of the RSFSR, 95-year-old Lyudmila Lyadova, hospitalized with coronavirus, was transferred to intensive care, former administrator of the artist Galina Gorbenko told RIA Novosti.
On the eve, Gorbenko told the agency that the pianist, singer and composer Lyadova was hospitalized with coronavirus in the capital's clinical hospital No. 52, she was admitted to the therapeutic department.
“Lyudmila Alekseevna got worse yesterday, she was transferred to intensive care, but she is not on mechanical ventilation, on oxygen,” Gorbenko said.
Lyadova was born on March 29, 1925 in Sverdlovsk in a family of musicians. In 1948 she graduated from the Sverdlovsk Conservatory. She performed on the stage from 1946 to 1951 in a duet with the singer Nina Panteleeva. Lyadova's songs were performed by Joseph Kobzon, Yuri Bogatikov, Eduard Khil, Gelena Velikanova and others.
