“In order to establish the causes and circumstances of the fire, interrogators of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, as well as investigators and forensic experts of the Investigative Committee are working on the spot. In total, 5 units of fire equipment and 19 personnel of the State Fire Service of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) were involved in extinguishing the fire,” press service.

The prosecutor's office of the city of Udachny organized a check on the fact of a fire in a residential building built in 1991 in the village of Aikhal. The audit will assess compliance with the requirements of fire safety legislation. “The issues of ensuring the housing rights of citizens affected by the fire have been taken under control, as well as the results of a procedural check conducted by law enforcement agencies on this fact,” the release of the republic's prosecutor's office says.
