Medvedchuk explained the difference between Zelensky and Poroshenko

“If under Poroshenko the country was poor, then under Zelensky it became poor. And this situation is getting worse, people see it,” he said.

Medvedchuk also suggested that gas and heat prices hit the Ukrainians hardest. According to him, in comparison with 2014, they grew by 1250 and 1300 percent, respectively.

“Wages have not increased. Pensions and the cost of living have decreased by half, while prices have increased by more than 300-350 percent, the state's domestic and foreign debts – by 340, wage arrears are about 400 percent. The politician called the situation with the cost of housing and communal services in the country “terrible” and “extremely negative.” In his opinion, the Ukrainian authorities also failed to cope with the fall in GDP and the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
