“RDIF announces the registration of the Russian vaccine against the Sputnik V coronavirus by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Guatemala. The registration of the vaccine was carried out as part of an emergency use authorization (EUA),” the fund said.
Guatemala is the 37th country to approve the Sputnik V vaccine. The drug is one of the three world vaccines against coronavirus in terms of the number of approvals received by state regulators. “Guatemala became the third state in Central America to register the Sputnik V vaccine. The safe and effective Russian vaccine is recognized worldwide and is one of the key tools for combating a pandemic, “- said the head of the RDIF Kirill Dmitriev.
At present, Sputnik V is also registered in Russia, Belarus, Argentina, Bolivia, Serbia, Algeria, Palestine, Venezuela, Paraguay, Turkmenistan, Hungary, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Republic of Guinea, Tunisia, Armenia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Republika Srpska ( Entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Lebanon, Myanmar, Pakistan, Mongolia, Bahrain, Montenegro, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Gabon, San Marino, Ghana, Syria, Kyrgyzstan, Guyana, Egypt and Honduras.
