A doctor from Nakhodka, who in January complained about insufficient pay for her colleagues, said that her car was damaged, the police are looking for the culprits, a representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Primorsky Territory told RIA Novosti.
In January, Natalya Pezhemskaya, a doctor at the city hospital in Nakhodka, published a video in which she said that doctors in Nakhodka receive salaries below what they should be. The video was then widely distributed in social networks of Primorye and a number of media outlets. Also, the woman is an activist of the public movement “For a Developing Nakhodka”, whose members oppose the open transshipment of coal.
On Thursday, a video appeared on social networks in which Pezhemskaya says that unknown persons fired at her family's car, and she regards this as pressure. The footage shows damage to the hood and a chip on the windshield. “A 38-year-old woman reported to the police station on duty that her Subaru Forester was damaged by an unknown person in the parking lot near a house in the village of Livadia at night,” the source said. …
According to him, the police questioned possible eyewitnesses of the incident, seized the video recordings of the surveillance cameras.
“The identity of the citizen involved in the incident is being established. A check is being carried out, based on the results of which a decision will be made in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation,” the police added.
The prosecutor's office conducted a check on publications about low salaries of medical personnel in the Nakhodka hospital, but the arguments were not confirmed, the regional department told RIA Novosti. RIA Novosti does not have a commentary from the Ministry of Health of Primorye on the situation with salaries at the Nakhodka hospital.
