MOSCOW, February 24 – RIA Novosti. In 2020, the Russian authorities spent 2.856 trillion rubles from the government's reserve fund to support the economy and eliminate the consequences of the coronavirus, follows from the analytical note of the Accounts Chamber.
The Control Department notes that in 2020 the volume of the government's reserve fund was increased by 4.455 trillion rubles, to 4.470 trillion rubles. 6 billion rubles, or 70.3%, are aimed at solving the issues of financial support of measures to prevent the impact of the deteriorating economic situation on the development of economic sectors, on the prevention and elimination of the consequences of the spread of coronavirus infection, “the document says.
According to the Accounting Chamber, as of January 1, 2021, about 153 government decisions were made on the allocation of funds from the reserve fund for these purposes.
