The US Supreme Court refused to consider the lawsuit of the porn actress against Trump

WASHINGTON, 23 Feb – RIA Novosti. The US Supreme Court refused to consider the lawsuit of the former model and pornographic actress Stormy Daniels, who accused ex-President Donald Trump of libel, court documents show.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, became the object of public attention in 2018, when the Wall Street Journal, citing a source, wrote that shortly before Trump's nomination for the presidency, his lawyer Michael Cohen paid the actress $ 130 thousand under a nondisclosure agreement her ties to the president. The White House denied this information.

Later, when the actress told the media that an unknown man threatened her and her child in connection with the disclosure of information about the relationship with Trump, the president accused Daniels of lying. In response, she filed a lawsuit, accusing him of libel, but a court in New York refused her to consider the case.

As the Supreme Court reported on Monday without explaining the details of the decision, the actress's claim was denied.
