According to the regional head office of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, a group of rescuers from the Nakhodka search and rescue squad helped in the evacuation of a man who had suffered from a bear attack between the village of Wrangel and the Shepalovo Bay. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the condition of the victim is satisfactory.

A video of the rescue of a man was posted on local social networks. The author says that the bear gave birth to a bear cub there, and attacked a man, protecting the cub.
