NUR-SULTAN, 21 Feb – RIA Novosti. The number of victims of a gas explosion in a hostel in Kazakhstan's Petropavlovsk increased to two: rescuers removed a woman's body from the rubble, RIA Novosti told RIA Novosti in the Department of Emergency Situations of the North Kazakhstan region.
The explosion of a gas cylinder took place on the first floor of a five-story dormitory in Kazakhstan's Petropavlovsk on Sunday. In the Department of Emergency Situations of the North Kazakhstan region, RIA Novosti previously reported that one person died – a young man, whose identity is being established, from the scene he was hospitalized and was in intensive care, where he later died. More than 10 people were injured, some have already been released home, one of the victims is in serious condition. 120 people were evacuated.
“As a result, two were killed,” – said the source of the agency.
