KIEV, February 20 – RIA Novosti. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree that put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) on sanctions against 19 legal entities and 8 individuals, including Viktor Medvedchuk, a deputy from the Opposition Platform – For Life, and his wife Oksana Marchenko.
The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on Friday decided to impose sanctions against 19 legal entities and eight individuals, including the owners of aircraft on which flights to Russia were carried out, the press service of the head of state reported earlier. Among others, Medvedchuk and his wife Oksana Marchenko were included in the sanctions list. Medvedchuk called the sanctions illegal and expressed the opinion that restrictions were imposed on him and his entourage because the authorities felt the danger.
