MOSCOW, February 20 – RIA Novosti. The American company JD Power has conducted a study of the reliability of various brands of cars; a press release is available on the company's website.
Analysts studied a survey of 33,251 car owners in 2018. The questions dealt with problems that arose in the last 12 months of use and cover 177 specific problems grouped into eight main categories.
The company recognized Lexus products as the most reliable auto brand. Porsches came in second, followed by Kia cars, with the study's authors noting that the Korean manufacturer was the highest among mass market brands. The top five also includes Toyota, Buick and Cadillac.
The most reliable model in the study was the Porsche 911.
The company also noted that the analytical results show a significant increase in the level of vehicle reliability compared to previous years.
