MOSCOW, February 20 – RIA Novosti. After the collapse of the workshop, where a man died under the rubble, the Norilsk concentration plant continues to work with restrictions related to rescue operations, according to the website of the Norilsk Nickel company.
“The Norilsk Concentrator continues to work with restrictions related to the conduct of emergency rescue operations,” the statement says. It is also noted that Norilsk Nickel is checking the reasons for the incident.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on Saturday night that a collapse occurred in the crushing shop at the Norilsk Concentrating Plant on an area of about 1,000 square meters. Two people got out on their own, rescued four from the rubble, the search for two more continues. Later one of those rescued died in an ambulance. The remaining five victims of the collapse are in serious condition in the hospital, the regional health ministry said.
The UK opened a case for a security violation that resulted in the death of two or more persons. According to the prosecutor's office, the collapse occurred during repair work.
