MOSCOW, February 19 – RIA Novosti. Two residents of the capital complained about the driver who allegedly opened fire in the Lefortovo tunnel after the conflict.
“The taxi driver got into the conversation between me and my companion, interfered with communication. Twice we asked him not to interfere, then we answered sharply. He grabbed an object that looked like a pistol and began to threaten them right in the car,” one of them told Vechernyaya Moscow “.
According to him, the taxi driver stopped the car in the tunnel and demanded that they leave. The interlocutor of the newspaper also noted that after the men tried to take their things from the car, the taxi driver opened fire.
“He got into the car and drove away with our things. After about three hundred meters, he threw them onto the road,” the passenger added, complaining that his laptop was broken as a result of the incident.
The man stressed that he had already written a statement to the police, his friend did the same.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow told the publication that they are now conducting an inspection, based on its results a procedural decision will be made. No one was reportedly injured as a result of the conflict.
