S.-PETERSBURG, 18 Feb – RIA Novosti. The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg has arrested until April 2 a participant in an uncoordinated action, Ilya Pershin, who is suspected of attacking an OMON fighter.
This was reported in the united press service of the city courts.
According to investigators, Pershin hit the security officer in the chest and knee on Bolshaya Morskaya Street on January 31. At the trial, he explained that during an uncoordinated action he came to the city center “to study the plastic arts of people” as an artist. The man asked to send him under house arrest to his partner, whose last name he could not remember.
Pershin is suspected of “using violence against a government official.”
According to the press service, he was detained the day before.
Earlier it became known that two natives of the Arkhangelsk region were arrested for attacking the security forces on Sennaya Square, another person was detained for attacking a policeman on Pionerskaya Square.
