MOSCOW, 18 Feb – RIA Novosti. The chairman of the Boris Nemtsov Foundation, Vladimir Kara-Murza Jr., filed an application with the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation with a demand to initiate a criminal case on the attempted murder in 2015 and 2017.
“We filed a crime complaint with the ICR following an investigation by Bellingcat and The Insider about my poisonings in 2015 and 2017,” Kara-Murza wrote on Twitter.
He demands to initiate a case under Article 105 (attempted murder).
In February 2020, Kara-Murza Jr. filed a lawsuit against the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, demanding to inform him of the results of his tests for possible poisoning. In a statement, he recalled that in 2015 and 2017, he was hospitalized in Moscow with symptoms of poisoning with an unknown substance. When the poisoning occurred for the second time, in February 2017, Kara-Murza's wife delivered a blood sample taken from him to a hospital in the United States.
