The government of Belarus authorized Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Nazarov to negotiate with Russia on the draft amendments to the intergovernmental agreement on measures to regulate trade and economic cooperation in the export of oil and oil products, the government decree on the national legal Internet portal says. Decides to authorize Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Viktorovich Nazarov to negotiate a draft protocol on amendments to the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation on measures to regulate trade and economic cooperation in the field of oil and oil products export dated January 12, 2007, allowing, if necessary, to make amendments to it that are not of a fundamental nature, “the resolution says.
According to the document, the Deputy Prime Minister is also authorized to sign this protocol upon reaching an agreement within the approved project.
The resolution was signed by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, the essence of the amendments to the intergovernmental agreement was not disclosed. The intergovernmental agreement itself concerns the agreement by countries of indicative balances for the supply of oil and oil products, the determination of tariffs for the transportation of oil.
